We, the Alliance Students Team, want to be sure you, our Servant Leaders, understand what is expected when you say yes to serving. We expect you to always be leading by example! The Bible tells us to be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us. We believe God is just and will not overlook our works and the love that we have shown, for His name, in serving. 1. We expect SLT to be on time and present at all meetings (SLT Huddle starts at 6pm) and outings unless otherwise communicated to the SLT Leader. 2. We expect student leaders to have an “others first” mindset, always looking for and welcoming new students at Greenhouse. 3. We expect SLT to be up front and invested in worship, taking notes during message, and attending Checkpoints as well as Discipleship Time. 4. We expect you to respect the authority of the adult leaders and Alliance Students staff by having a willingness to help with any task. 5. We expect SLT to be on set up and tear down teams unless otherwise instructed.
